Nike aimed to introduce runners to their latest running shoe, the Nike Joyride, which features a unique cushioning system packed with thousands of beads. They wanted to create an installation that not only showcased the benefits of this innovative shoe but also conveyed the experience of running in it—smooth, effortless, and freeing.
Our team designed and built the Nike Joyride Bead Cloud, an impressive installation situated in the Dubai Mall Nike store on Fashion Avenue. The primary focus was to illustrate how the beads in the shoes enhance recovery running, emphasizing the sensation rather than delving into the technical details.
